Chat function

Via the JAMES app or the web portal, contacts can send text messages to the watch. These can be answered with voice messages via the watch.

App and web portal

After an alarm is triggered, the red “SOS” text flashes at the bottom left of the screen until the alarm is handled and closed by the call centre. After one hour at the latest, the display is hidden in any case. During this time, all incoming calls are answered automatically by the watch (no need to pick up).

Shows the current time. Switching between daylight saving time and standard time happens automatically.

	Battery is almost empty. A battery warning is issued at 15%, 10% and 5% with an audible signal.

	The watch has full reception (5 bars). With fewer bars reception is slightly worse, but the watch is still fully functional.	x
	The watch has NO reception and therefore cannot trigger an alarm. (See troubleshooting)	x

	The screen is normally in sleep mode and black, and can be woken up with a short press of the control button.
	After waking up, the screen shows network reception, battery, time and date.
	If an alarm is active, a flashing SOS is also shown at the bottom left.
	When triggering an alarm by pressing and holding the control button, the “SOS” symbol is shown. The alarm can still be cancelled within the first 3 seconds by briefly pressing the control button.
	After sending the alarm, the watch calls the call centre. While the call is active, “SOS” is shown on the screen.
	If the watch has no reception when triggering the alarm and the alarm cannot be sent, this symbol appears, the watch vibrates and emits a loud sound.
	The watch is switched off and connected to the charging cable. If the button is pressed briefly, the charge level and the watch’s IMEI number are displayed. The IMEI is required to activate the watch.
