Service user overview
The main page of the JAMES app shows 4 tiles for a service user:
- the current watch status
- the location with the time it was retrieved. To load a new position, tap the round “Refresh” icon on the right above the map
- the current steps (this is not supported by the S6 model)
- the upcoming reminders and calendar appointments. Tap the [ ] icon at the top right of each tile to open the tile details
Status details
The status details show the watch status and the history of alarms and warnings. The watch status can be:
- Everything OK
- SOS: an alarm is active
- Movement zone: a movement zone alarm is active
- No signal: the watch has no data reception
- Battery level: the watch has 15% or less battery
- Steps: no steps until a configurable time
- Vital warning: pulse too high / too low (configurable)
- Switched off: the watch is switched off
- Offline: the watch has been offline for several days
The Device status tile shows the watch code, the last reported battery level and how long ago the watch last communicated with the JAMES system.
The Alert history tile shows past alarms and warnings.
Map details
The map details show:
- the last retrieved position of the watch
- the home address as a little house icon if it was entered in the service user data
- the position where a currently active alarm was triggered
To load a new position, tap the round “Refresh” icon on the right above the map. To see the timestamp of the position, tap the position icon.
Navigate to the position:
You can start route guidance to the current position of the watch directly from the JAMES app.
To do this, tap the watch’s position marker in the map view. Then select “Navigate to position” to be redirected to navigation in Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Vital values details
The vital values details show all vital values that were measured on the watch: steps, pulse and blood pressure, and on some models also blood oxygen and temperature.
Tap the measured value to see further details.
If the watch should automatically measure vital values several times a day, you can enable this in the watch settings.
Note: The measurement values are guideline values and are for orientation. This is not a medically certified device.
Calendar details
The calendar details show in the calendar view on which days reminders or appointments exist. To add a reminder, tap the “+” icon.
To automatically repeat a reminder, tap the reminder to open the details and then tap the header “Edit reminder”. Select the repetition frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and save the reminder again.
