How long does the battery last?

Depending on the model, JAMES products offer a battery life of around two to four days. Compared to that, the Galaxy models have a shorter battery life.

Battery life depends on various factors, such as the connection quality to the mobile network and individual usage behaviour. In general, we recommend charging the watch daily for about 30 minutes and checking the battery level before putting it on.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Up to 1.5 hours if the battery is completely empty.

The device is not charging. What can I do?

1. Connect the charging cable to a different power adapter and make sure the adapter is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Place the back of the watch correctly on the magnetic charging plate or align the magnetic contacts with the charging contacts on the back of the watch. Check that the connection remains stable; the watch should not restart when it is moved slightly on the charging station.
3. If charging still does not work, the cable or charging station may be defective. Contact Support to request a replacement charging cable or charging station.

If the watch charges slowly, repeatedly disconnects during charging, or the battery drains unusually quickly, check the connection and charging accessories first. A weak or fluctuating mobile network connection can also shorten battery life because the watch continuously searches for a connection. If the problem persists, contact Support for a technical check.

In very rare cases, the watch may overheat while charging. In this case, please send the watch to our service centre for repair.
If the watch charges slowly, repeatedly disconnects during charging, or the battery drains unusually quickly, check the connection and charging accessories first. If the problem persists, contact Support for a technical check.
